Pediatric Pulmonology, Allergy and Asthma
Our Pediatric Pulmonary Unit staff members treat patients for a wide range of lung and allergic disorders, including asthma and sleep disorders. These conditions can affect many areas of the body, including the:
- Airway
- Lung tissues
- Vocal cords
Advanced care for children and teens with lung and breathing conditions
We maintain a number of special clinical programs to care for infants, children, and teens with respiratory disorders, such as our:
- Allergy/Immunology Clinic
- BPD (bronchopulmonary dysplasia) Follow-Up Clinic
- Cystic Fibrosis Center
- Physiology testing, including during exercise and sleep
- Pulmonary function testing
For the past 15 years, we have sponsored a weekly conference for pediatric pulmonologists from throughout New England. This forum lets doctors share information about unusual cases, and it gives parents access to second opinions upon request.
