Parking at Newton-Wellesley Hospital

 

  • Parking validation coupons will now be required in order to pay a maximum of $10.00 for six plus hours of parking
  • Monday through Friday (weekends and holidays are excluded).

This change affects the following areas:

  • Patient and Visitor Garage
  • Lot A (open-air lot next to the West Entrance)
  • Emergency Department parking area (within the Employee Garage)

There is a daily fee for parking in the hospital garage/lots.

If you are a patient or visitor parking on campus for six or more hours Monday through Friday, you can request a parking validation coupon to ensure a maximum parking rate of $10.

Parking validation coupons can be requested from the department you are visiting or from an information desk.

24-Hour Parking Pay Stations

We have moved to pay-on-foot stations for all parking lots. Please pay at one of the locations listed below. Once you have paid your ticket, you will have 20 minutes to exit. Insert your paid parking ticket at the exit gate to leave the garage/lot.

  • West Main Lobby: Accepts all major credit/debit cards; cash/bills (does not accept coins)
  • East Main Lobby: Accepts major credit/debit cards; cash/bills (does not accept coins)
  • Emergency Department: Accepts major credit/debit cards; cash/bills (does not accept coins)
  • Third Floor Blue/White Medical Office Building intersection: Accepts major credit/debit cards; cash/bills (does not accept coins)
  • White Building, Elevator Lobbies Level 2, 4, and 5: Accepts major credit/debit cards; does not accept cash
  • White Building, First Floor: Accepts major credit/debit cards; cash/bills (does not accept coins)
  • Green Building, Second Floor/Ground Lobby: Accepts major credit/debit cards; does not accept cash.
  • Exit Gates: You can pay using your credit card from your vehicle at the exit to each parking lot. Validation tickets are also accepted as payment.

Parking Rates

  • Up to 20 minutes: Free
  • First hour: $4
  • 1 to 2 hours: $6
  • 2 to 3 hours: $8
  • 3 to 5 hours: $9
  • 5 to 6 hours: $10
  • 6 + hours $35*** (without parking validation coupon)
    • NOTE: If you request a parking validation coupon from the department you are visiting, you can bring this rate down to $10.

Discounted Parking Rates

Newton-Wellesley Hospital offers a discounted seven-day parking passes for patients and visitors only. Passes may be purchased at the Gift Shop or Parking Cashiers during regular business hours only. (Cashier located in the West Lobby). A pass costs $35 and provides five entrances and five exits per day for seven consecutive days. Not valid for Valet Parking.

Emergency Department Parking

There is a convenient patient drop-off area at the entrance to the Emergency Department. Paid parking is in the garage adjacent to the building. Valet parking is also available from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Valet Parking

Valet parking is available from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday at the East, West and Emergency Department entrances. The flat fee at the East and West entrances is $12 per day. The ADA rate is $4.00 per day with a valid ADA placard. Placard must be present. The cost of valet parking at the Emergency Department is based on the self-park parking rates. Patients and visitors using valet parking will pay the valet attendant or parking cashier when they return to pick up their vehicle.

Patients and visitors using the Valet service displaying a valid state-issued handicap plate or placard will pay a reduced fee of $4. Plate and or placard must be present to receive the discount.
