Community Benefits
The Newton-Wellesley Community Collaborative includes community benefits programs to improve the health and wellness of those who live in the communities we serve. We provide effective and coordinated local support to help community residents stay healthy. These efforts include:
- Raising awareness of health issues
- Advocating for change to improve health
- Prevention programs
- Successfully developing additional treatment resources
Community Health Needs Assessments
NWH works with many community organizations to improve the health of underserved populations. Through initiatives that include access to health care, prevention, and intervention, the hospital is making a difference in the communities in which we live and work. We regularly conduct a community health assessment to understand community needs, identify vulnerable populations, and determine gaps in service.
