How To Apply for the Summer Program:
- Complete an NWH Volunteer Application .
- Students will also need to submit a ‘Minor Authorization to Volunteer’ form. This will be uploaded into the application when applying online.
- All students must complete an application regardless of whether they have volunteered or applied to volunteer at NWH in the past.
- Once your application has been submitted, applicants will receive an automated email with the instructions about how to schedule an interview.
- The automated email will contain a link to schedule your interview. This link will go live on the first Monday of March at 4:00pm.
- Interviews will be scheduled on a first come first serve basis. Placement in the program will continue until all assignments are filled. We anticipate that this program will fill quickly.
- If all the interview slots are filled, you will have the opportunity to add your name to a waitlist. The link for the waitlist is in the automated email that you will receive after applying.
- Interviews take place via Teams and are approximately 30 minutes long. During the interview we will talk about your interest in volunteering, availability for volunteering, and positions that are currently open. Once the interview is scheduled, applicants will receive a calendar invite with the interview link and information to prepare for the interview.
After your Interview:
- Students who are accepted into the program will need to provide documentation of the following vaccinations: MMR, Varicella, current Flu Shot, Covid-19. Students will also need to complete a tuberculosis test (skin or blood test) within 90 days prior to their start date.
