Oncology Nutrition Services

Your cancer treatment plan includes complete nutrition services, provided by our dietitian who is registered with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Your dietitian will work with you to provide practical, science-based nutrition care.

  • Coordination of existing nutritional concerns with those related to your cancer treatment
  • Customized eating plans
  • Guidance regarding foods, supplements, vitamins, and herbs
  • Management of appetite changes and weight loss
  • Management of treatment side effects
  • Recommendations for intravenous (IV) nutrition and tube feedings if necessary
  • Education and useful resources

You can make appointments for nutritional counseling on a regular basis for ongoing nutrition care, or you can meet with your dietitian as needed to address general questions and concerns. If you receive inpatient nutrition care, we can help you as you prepare to transition home for the next stage of care. We also offer group classes to address nutrition concerns, provide support, and give participants ideas for recipes and cooking.
