Honor Your Caregiver, Estate Planning and Giving Societies

Below we describe other ways you can support Newton-Wellesley Hospital, through gifts in honor of a caregiver, estate planning and four different giving societies.

Honor Your Caregiver

Recognize and Honor Extraordinary Caregivers

The Honor Your Caregiver program is a perfect opportunity for grateful patients, their loved ones, and community members to pay tribute to the compassion and unwavering commitment of our staff.

Making your own gift will offer you a special way to recognize the outstanding care of a talented and compassionate member of our staff—or an entire department or team. You can make your gift in honor of physicians, nurses, social workers, therapists, patient transporters, and any of the many others who directly impact patients’ lives every day.

By donating in their honor, you’ll not only celebrate them but also support our efforts to meet the most urgent health needs of our neighbors. Your gift will be put to immediate use and help bring our mission to life: to treat and care for all our patients and their families as we would a beloved family member.

Whoever you choose to honor will be presented with a certificate highlighting their commitment to compassionate patient-centered care, and their name(s) will be featured on our website.

They will be incredibly touched by your generosity and thoughtfulness.

Board of Advisors

As a nonprofit community teaching hospital, Newton-Wellesley relies upon members of the community to provide invaluable input to help further its mission. Every year, key individuals from our community are asked to serve on the Board of Advisors of Newton-Wellesley Hospital.

This group brings together volunteers who share a passion for the hospital and a keen interest in learning more about its clinical services, programs, and goals. Advisors serve as “ambassadors” who advocate on behalf of Newton-Wellesley within the community and beyond.

Its 150 members contribute leadership, advice, and counsel to the Board of Trustees and the Senior Leadership Team. Advisors also help to heighten awareness of philanthropy’s vital role in sustaining Newton-Wellesley’s excellence. Email nwhdev@partners.org to learn more.
